Priesthood - Sacrament of Holy Orders
Sacrament of Holy Orders -- As priests, men are called to lay down their lives for everyone they serve.
In an ordination, men are called forth by name and promise obedience to the bishop.
There are three levels of ordination: deacon, priest, and bishop.
A stole is placed around the new priest’s shoulders and a chasuble is given to them, as a sign of them being given a sacred character to be in persona Christi (in the person of Christ).

The priest is given the graces to put into practice the gifts of sanctification, teaching, and ruling, which they receive from the Holy Spirit.
Priests are given the power of Christ to carry out the Sacraments from the moment they are ordained.
