Adult Lenten Series Online Registration
Monday Evening Sessions : “The Problem of Pain,” by C.S. Lewis
The series will explore pain and suffering in light of where the Season of Lent leads us...to the Passion, Crucifixion, Death and Resurrection of Christ. How do we reconcile the existence of pain in the world and in our lives with our belief that God is good?” “The Problem of Pain” is a four-week series that will be led by Deacon Steve Synoracki on Monday evenings at 7:00 PM beginning February 26 and ending March 19. Although it will not be necessary to have a copy of this C.S. Lewis classic to participate, we will have a number of copies available for purchase.
Friday Morning Sessions Forgiven: The Transforming Power of Confession
Forgiven provides the Church’s teaching about the sacrament of Confession, including a practical “walk through” of what happens in the confessional and how every moment connects to Scripture, Catholic Tradition and God’s pas- sionate desire to be with you. This Series is presented by Kelly DeRaymond and will begin on February 23rd at 11:00 a.m. (following meetings will begin at 10) in the Msgr. Gobitas Meeting Room.
