How do I join the parish?

If you wish to be a registered member of the parish, we ask you to call the parish office and to schedule an appointment with a priest. At this meeting, the priest will meet with you, give you a packet of information about the parish, take your contact information, and be happy to answer any questions you may have. 610-253-3553

How would I receive the Sacrament of Matrimony at St. Jane Parish?

It is the policy of the Diocese of Allentown, that a wedding be scheduled at least 6 months prior to the wedding date. This allows adequate time for marriage preparation. This preparation requires attendance at a marriage preparation class and a few meetings with the priest. 610-253-3553 

How do I register my child for religious instruction, PREP (sometimes called CCD)?

Mrs. Kelly DeRaymond is our Director of Religious Education. She can be reached via our parish office and would be happy to answer any questions you may have about your child’s preparation of sacraments and ongoing religious formation.

How do I become a Catholic?

The Rite of Catholic Initiation for Adults (RCIA) meets on Thursdays to prepare individuals to receive the sacraments of Initiation which include Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Eucharist. Mrs. Kelly DeRaymond can be reached via our parish office and would be happy to answer any questions you may have at 610-253-3553.

What is an eligibility certificate?

This is a document which shows that you are a practicing Catholic in good standing. This document is necessary if you are asked to be a god parent. To be in good standing means that you attend Mass each Sunday; if you are married you are in a valid sacramental marriage and that you are living a Christian life. If there is any question about your eligibility, make an appointment with the priest on call. 610-253-3553

What if I need an annulment?

Please schedule a meeting with one of the priests of the parish. They would be happy to meet with you and answer any of your questions. Often there are many misunderstandings regarding annulments. We hope to address any questions and assist you in beginning the process. 610-253-3553
