Our annual Lenten Fish Dinner , sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, Council 345 will be held in Father Farrell Hall on Fridays March 2, 9, 16, 23, 30. Dinner will be served from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Come to Stations of the Cross at 7:30 p.m. in the St. Jane Church. Cost: Adults, $10, Seniors, $9, children $5 (4 & under FREE) Carryouts available for $10. Event Title: Adult Lenten Program: "Seven Deadly Sins and Seven Lively Virtues"
Event Description:
Sin separates us from the love of God, but the cultivation of virtue can restore right relationship with Him. This Lent, begin the journey from sin to sanctity with Father Robert Barron’s spiritual study. Pride, envy, anger, sloth, gluttony, avarice and lust are all patterns of dysfunction within us that lead to unhappiness. / Father Barron explains the nature of these sins and offers a corresponding virtue for each one, giving practical advise on how to instill this virtue in your own life. / Plan on joining us on Monday evenings: March 5, March 12, March 19 and March 26 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the Msgr. Gobitas Meeting Room.
