The Most Precious Body and Blood of Our Lord – Sunday, June 3, 2018
The Most Holy Eucharist is Jesus giving Himself to us Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity under the appearance of bread and wine in the Consecrated Host. Jesus wants us to come to Him in faith that we may see Him in His glory and beauty.
While they were eating, he took bread, said the blessing, broke it and gave it to them and said, “Take it, this is my body.” Then He took a cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them, and they all drank from it. He said to them, “This is my blood of the covenant, which will be shed for many. Amen, I say to you, I shall not drink again the fruit of the vine until the day when I drink it new in the Kingdom of God.” Mark 22-25
God’s love for us is poured out in the sacrament of the Most Holy Eucharist where Christ is truly present for us, giving us life and healing.
