Prayer Chain
The Prayer Chain at St. Jane’s is a group of individuals who pray in response to the requests from parishioners for people in need or crisis. This network of people who are committed to prayer, take action on behalf of the community on Jesus’ word to “ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened”. (Matthew 7:7)
Things you should know when requesting prayers:
- It is helpful to know a little bit about why the person needs prayers so that prayers can be focused on the specific need, but it is not necessary.
- The Prayer Chain requests first names only!
- Names remain on the Prayer Chain for approximately one week.
